More Bragging

Heh, looks like Newgrounds added "Konquest of the Kamidogu" to their Mortal Kombat collection:

I didn't even know they still updated that anymore!  I'm truly honored.

Konquest of the Kamidogu (Episode 6)

Hooray, a new Konquest of the Kamidogu!  But first, to brag:

Ed Boon watched Konquest of the Kamidogu.

Okay, on with the show:

As always, enjoy, and speaking of Ed Boon, he is hidden in an easter egg somewhere in Episode 6.  Try and find him!  Thanks to Bezou for his hard work as always.

Update:

Another blue bar from Newgrounds voters, yay!

2 MK Flash Animations

Alright, another great 2 Flash MK animations!  MK vs SF is amazing - can you believe this was made in only 2 weeks?  I can't.  Also, got an interesting one with Jax involving both a Fatality and a Friendship.  It's interactive.  Check them both out:

Thanks to the new guy Proxicide for his amazing work, and returning animator Sub-Ciro for another job well done.  Let's hear a round of applause for these two!

Back from E3

I hope you guys really enjoyed the MKO Midway Tour Video posted yesterday, as well as MK Online's E3 Coverage of MK Shaolin Monks (as well as the PSP ports of Midway Arcade Treasures and Mortal Kombat: Deception). Well, here's a couple of exclusive pics from E3 (don't expect anything too fancy):

Enjoy, Kombat Pavilion fans, and things should get back to normal around here soon!

Going to E3

Well, I will be gone for a few days to help cover E3 for Mortal Kombat Online – be sure to check back every day (multiple times a day, really) to see all our updates.  You don't want to miss anything, as MK Shaolin Monks looks to be absolutely kick-ass.  Even fighting game purists are excited about the engine used in the fighting mode.

Anyway, back in October, we visited Midway's headquarters in Chicago to conduct Fight Night.  We've never really released pics or anything - until now, for some reason.

In these pics, you can see me - ]{0MBAT - with MK team members such as Mike Taran and John Vogel, and I'm also wearing the official Shao Kahn helmet in one of them.  Thanks to M4C for being the cameraman and editor of this video!  Also present are Scott Howell and CCShadow.

Download the full video here - 27.4 MB, WMV (Windows Media Video) format.

King of Puns - The Song

Heh, I couldn't believe this when I first saw it.  Someone took one my sprite comics, The King of Puns, and turned it into a song.  The original song this is based off of is called "Blister in the Sun" and it's performed by a group called "The Violent Femmes".

To see the song that was made with lyrics based on my comic and to the tune of this song, click here

Thanks to Tokusou Sentai Blessranger for writing these lyrics!

Videos

Here's 2 videos:

Thanks to Idiot Pickters for Moron Kombat (heh, aptly titled) but also, a big thanks to Vultyrex for a preview of his future video.  The preview clip (very small) shows him doing a lightning bolt, but the actual video is gonna have so much more than that.  Stay tuned for updates on this, no MK fan would want to miss what's coming in this series.
