You have to check out this mini-RPG game by Torchia, it's about a 20 MB demo, but definitely worth a look.  Check it out!  Proudly hosted by the author's request.

Fantastic Five (5 Animations)

Here's a gift to those of you who love fake MK animations as much as I do:

Thanks to Ultimate Ryu for practically taking care of this update single-handedly ;)  And let's not forget Sub-Ciro who sent in the only Flash animation for this update.  Great job, you two!

New Comics

Not as many new Mortal Kombat comics as usual.  But that's okay!  Quality over quantity, I always like to say.Read them all!  Seriously!

Sonic the Hedgehog

Hope you guys like Sonic.  Out of 5 animations, 4 of them are related to this blue little furball :P

Thanks to all three new animators - Ace Kombat, for including a downloadable .wmv video (with sound) along with his animation, and Miguel Corral and Silvery Scythe for continuing this latest fad of MK crossover animations! ;)

Johnny Cage's Funeral

Someone on the Mortal Kombat Online forums had asked about this the other day, so I decided to be a pal and make this available on the web (again).  This sound clip came out a LONG time ago (when MK3 was brand new!), and I'm pretty sure it was a file on Ed Boon's site, and is Ed Boon's voice - but I'm not really 100% sure about its origins, though.  I don't think anyone is, any more.  The MK story has been retconned to the point where Johnny Cage didn't die at the hands of Kintaro, he died at the hands of Kahn's Extermination Sqads, and then it's been retconned further so that he didn't die at all.  But this file is an interesting memento, a look into the past.  If you've heard this before, this will bring back some memories.  If not, I guess you're in for a treat!

March 14, 2005
Konquest of the Kamidogu

Check out the new "KOTK" video:

I always say this, but I think this is easily my new favorite!  Thanks to Bezou, whose great ideas really helped make this project come along really far.  Well, enjoy the new video, and watch as Shujinko leaves the Nextus and enters the Never-Realm!

MK Crossover Animations

Even more MK/Crossover Flash animations!  Is there an epidemic going around?  If so, I hope it's here to stay!

Thanks to Daniel Sun for some of his best work yet with his Super Mario All-Star series, and newcomer Lee McKendrick for a preview for his upcoming series, Super Smash Sprites.  Thanks, guys, for making today's update awesome!

SF vs MK 2 (Preview)

Remember the other day, I said there'd be an SF vs MK 2 preview here?  Well, it's here.  Enjoy!

For even more details on this movie, check out the author, Dustin_a31's, write up on it on Razoric by clicking here.  Thanks to Dustin_a31 for another quality Flash animation, as always!  Enjoy Fei Long's intro, Liu Kang's is next!

MK WinAmp Skins

It's been a long time since I've had any Mortal Kombat skins for Winamp to add, but today, you can get three new ones:

Thanks to all three authors (Jay Em, Coran O'Dell, and Obaid Rahimi) for their excellent contributions!

March 8, 2005
Gimme Five - Animations

Another 5 new Mortal Kombat animations, with a good mix of both GIF's and Flash (hey, they're both good in their own right!)

Thanks to everyone who submitted animations (Cream-E, Happy Dude, Kabbal-MK, and Nelson).

Also, a huge thanks to Dustin_a31 (of SF vs MK fame) for hosting a contest based on that movie.  That's why there's been so many SF vs MK movies around here lately - he released his .FLA to the public and held a contest to see who could come up with the best ending based on his animation, and the winner would have their idea put into the sequel!  This contest was held on the VGDC forum, and you can read the original thread here and the voting thread here.

In related news, The Kombat Pavilion will be showing an exclusive preview to "SF vs MK 2" at some point in the future, so stay tuned!

Akuma vs. Scorpion 2

The next part in this excellent series is now up:

Check out the latest in this excellent series xXARCHAONXx!  Excellent job, dude!

MK Comics

Hehe, it's gotten to the point now where I get more hand drawn comics than sprite comics.  That's pretty cool!  BTW, the Frost one is based on the real-life adventures of kaligoddess, who attended an anime convention dressed as Frost and was repeatedly asked if that costume made her cold!Enjoy the new comics, as always!

Kamidogu Video, Part 3

Yes!! Bezou and I have our next video up and running:

IMO, this is some of our best work yet.  Check it out, as they finally leave the Earthrealm and move on to the Nextus!
